The Hydra+ has been HRIPT tested - this is a clinical test used worldwide for personal care and pharmaceutical products to prevent the risk of allergic reactions.
It is still advisable with any lubricant to do the following before regular use: apply a small amount to your forearm. If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use.

Evelien: "I have tested various water-based lubricants and this one stood out head and shoulders above the rest. It feels soft and lovely, it is not watery but slightly thicker which makes it easy to apply. I like that they chose a pump bottle because that makes dosing even easier. You can apply it to the vagina, penis and toys. It stays where you want it. It gives a lovely feeling without feeling unnatural, and it ensures easy, comfortable gliding. The bottle is 150 ml, and I think that is a good size for us.
Of course we also tested it for sticking and tackiness and this lubricant does neither. It has no scent, flavour or colour and we both find that a positive as well."

Rene: "Best lubricant in our test. Why? Good consistency (not too thick and not too thin). Does not stick and does not become grainy if you use a bit more, you can safely do so. The lubricant feels pleasantly fresh. Easy to apply. Wonderful to use during penetration but also during foreplay. A little on the vagina, labia and clitoris makes the touches more arousing. Also works well with toys. Not tested with anal sex."
