What ingredients are in the Pjur Original?
The Pjur Original contains three ingredients: Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone and Dimethiconol. These are pure silicone compounds. The product contains no colourants or fragrances, no preservatives, no parabens, no glycerine and is oil and grease-free. This makes it a very pure lubricant that has been rigorously tested by TÜV in Germany.
How does the Pjur Original feel on the skin?
The Pjur Original has a somewhat thinner consistency, but does not feel watery. It spreads easily and provides a long-lasting smooth and silky soft feeling on the skin. As it is silicone-based, it does not absorb quickly and you need to reapply less frequently than with a water-based lubricant. According to testers, it glides well and lasts long, although in practice you do need slightly more than just a few drops.
Can I use the Pjur Original with condoms and toys?
The Pjur Original is safe to use with all common condoms. The product is even recommended by the German AIDS Foundation as the best massage and lubricant for use with a condom. Please note that silicone-based lubricants are not suitable for use with silicone toys, as they can damage the material. With toys made of glass, metal or hard plastic, you can use the Pjur Original without any issues.
